Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ManyTiles ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Canada that creates personalized photo mosaics. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to place an order. By using the service you confirm that you are.

3. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You warrant that:

• You own or have all necessary rights and permissions to use and reproduce the photos you upload;
• Your photos do not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other right of any third party;
• Your photos do not contain illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, hate speech, or content that incites violence.

By uploading content you grant ManyTiles a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, composite, and render your photos solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your digital mosaic.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in our sole discretion, including orders that we believe violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Digital product

ManyTiles currently sells a digital high-resolution PNG mosaic. There is no physical product or shipping. After payment, your file is generated and made available for download via a recovery link emailed to you. You may re-download it from any device using that link. We do not currently offer printed products.

5. Pricing, taxes, and payment

• Prices are displayed on the checkout page and are in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.
• You are responsible for any applicable sales taxes, VAT, or other consumption taxes imposed by your country or region on digital goods.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By placing an order you agree to Stripe's terms.

6. Color and quality

On-screen colors may vary depending on your monitor calibration, browser, and operating system. Resolution and clarity of the final mosaic depend on the photos you upload.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManyTiles' total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ManyTiles harmless from any claim arising out of (a) photos you upload, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Quebec have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
